Each of the Four Points is a Main Street Wadsworth Committee, comprised of community members.

DESIGN COMMITTEE

The Main Street Wadsworth Design Committee works to beautify the downtown, educating stakeholders about good design, motivating others to make changes, planning downtown development, and providing well-informed design advice.

Objectives:

• Educate others about good design and historic preservation.

• Collaborate with the City of Wadsworth to implement the Downtown Plan.

• Assist in downtown beautification.

ECONOMIC VITALITY COMMITTEE

The Main Street Wadsworth Economic Vitality Committee works to make downtown businesses thrive, focusing on both existing businesses as well as potential future businesses.

Objectives:

• Retain existing businesses by serving as a resource and initiating relationships.

• Assist with new business development.

• Initiate market research for the benefit of Downtown Wadsworth.

PROMOTION COMMITTEE

The Main Street Wadsworth Promotion Committee maintains and enhances the image, awareness, and usage of Downtown Wadsworth as a vibrant hub of activity – where the community goes to shop, dine work, gather, and play. The committee uses its commercial, cultural, recreational, and governmental strength in the region to create a strong and positive image of Downtown Wadsworth.

Objectives:

• Continue and strengthen new and existing successful promotions and special events.

• Market a positive image of Downtown Wadsworth, using both traditional venues and social media.

• Encourage local shopping in the historic Downtown Wadsworth district.

ORGANIZATION COMMITTEE

The Main Street Wadsworth Organization Committee supports the vitality, growth, and investment of the historic downtown Wadsworth district.

Objectives:

• Coordinate volunteer recruitment, retention, and appreciation.

• Handle public relations.

• Implement fundraising efforts.

• Manage Board development.
