Downtown Improvement Grant – Round 2
NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS ON A ROLLING BASIS
Applications accepted starting: October 7, 2021. Assistance will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis until all funds are expended.
Round 2 will focus on providing reimbursement for structural, design and visual improvements to the REAR FRONTAGES of buildings that have a secondary entrance directly to a public or private lot.
A total of $50,000 has been made available for this reimbursable 1:1 matching grant, up to $5,000 per project (same as Round 1). Examples: If a building owner is approved for a project that has a total project cost of $2,000, they will be reimbursed $1,000 from the grant upon providing all required documentation showing successful completion. If a grantee is approved for a grant project that has a total project cost of $15,000, the grantee will only be reimbursed the matching maximum amount of $5,000.
IMPORTANT: Grant project work must not commence in any way until your application is FIRST approved by the Downtown Improvement Grant (DIG) Committee; if project work starts prior to grant approval, project will not be eligible for grant monies.
