Megan Harvey, Executive Director

Megan Harvey is the Executive Director of Main Street Wadsworth. In her position, she oversees all of Main Street Wadsworth’s operations, including community outreach, committees, events, marketing, and collaborations with the City of Wadsworth.

A dedicated professional, Harvey joined the staff of the Akron Civic Theatre in 2018 as the Executive Assistant and Office Manager and later served as the organization’s Development Manager of Foundation and Individual Giving. During her tenure at the Civic, she was crucial in producing theatrical works, supporting the nonprofit’s $8.5 million capital campaign, and establishing the CivicGo! membership program.

Ms. Harvey graduated from Ashland University with a Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies in Theatre & Business Management. Underscoring her dedication to community service and her ability to connect with diverse stakeholders, her civic activities include ArtsNow, Torchbearers, The Heinz Poll Summer Dance Festival, The Akron Civic Theatre Women’s Guild, and The Kent State University of Performing Arts at Firestone CLC Advisory Board.

Emma Kelley, Community Engagement Manager

Emma Kelley HeadshotEmma Kelley is the new Community Engagement Manager of Main Street Wadsworth. In her position, she will oversee marketing, public relations, event management, administration, and collaboration opportunities for Main Street. Hoping to bring fresh energy and passion for building connections with the local community, Ms. Kelley is thrilled to join the Main Street Wadsworth team!
As a recent graduate from Walsh University, with a double major in Visual Communication Design and Communications, Emma’s academic foundation equips her with the skills to creatively and effectively engage with the public. She also earned a minor in Digital Marketing and Analytics, providing her with a strong understanding of data-driven strategies to boost community outreach efforts.
Ms. Kelley is looking forward to fostering meaningful relationships with the citizens of Wadsworth, collaborating with local businesses to organize vibrant events, and creating initiatives that promote the current growth and future development of the downtown area. She is so excited to be a part of the ongoing efforts to make downtown Wadsworth a thriving and welcoming destination for all!
